Château Caman
The Wine
The wines of Chateau Caman are crafted from a terroir consisting of layers of gravel, clayey sand and rocky limestone, created by erosion and sediments deposited by the Gironde river over thousands of years.
To make the best of the different geological components of our terroir, we have for many years now adapted the root stocks and the grape varieties to the soil through constant restructuring of our plots.

Chateau La Raz Caman benefits from the skill and know-how of 7 generations of winemakers. The estate of 40 hectares (98 acres) is located in Anglade, on the right bank of the Gironde, just across the river from Pauillac, halfway between Blaye and Saint-Ciers sur Gironde. When visiting the Bordeaux or Blaye regions, wander off the beaten track and come and taste our wines: Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, directly from the barrel.
